Colin Sankey is a bassist, composer, and arranger from Vancouver, BC. Compared to Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, and Alain Caron, his use of extended techniques, such as tapping and harmonics, creates lush harmonies and infectious grooves that sound almost orchestral in nature. Colin is the 1st place winner of the 2022 Phil Jones Solo Bass Competition and has gone viral with his solo bass arrangements, achieving over 15 million views across social media platforms in the last year.

Julia is a vocalist and contemporary singer/songwriter based in Vancouver, BC. Julia brings a warmth and vulnerability to her songwriting and performance that will draw you in and make you feel right at home. Having recently completed her Bachelor’s degree at VCC, she is quickly becoming a mainstay vocalist in Vancouver’s music scene. As a duo their instrumentation creates a unique texture, blending Julia’s melodic R&B vocals with Colin’s virtuosic six-string bass playing.
